Owlscreech is part of a litter of two that includes himself and his twin brother, Heronwing. Heron is a pure white tom with very dark green eyes just like his twin. They are mostly close and Heronwing is very protective, even possessive of his poor brother. Heronwing is sort of like Owl's translator, he always knows what he wants to say and can read him like no other.
Owlscreech is kind of pushy and abrasive against Heron but loves him nonetheless.
Heronwing's personality is the complete opposite of Owlscreech's. Unlike the black tom, Heron is very kind and patient with a smooth and friendly aura. He's flirtatious with anything that has a pulse and often jokes around with his brother about it. Heronwing is a great warrior and an even better person in whole.
Owlscreech is jealous of Heronwing both for his ability to speak still and his good charms.
Herowing's Relationships
Mother: Creekdapple (Deceased)
Father: Shellclaw (Can Be Elder Or Spirit)
Littermates: Owlscreech
The Accident:
When Heronwing and Owlscreech were apprentice they still had a similar relationship as today, only back them Owlscreech could still speak. Their mother had passed on as an elder as she was pretty old and they both had dealt with it pretty well. Their father was heartbroken but he still loved his sons unconditionally with all of his old heart. But see, Heron and Owl were partners, inseparable adventurers and one day they had heard the story of the great thunderpath not far from the old halfbridge by the lake. And just like any children, they were interested to see this 'thunderpath'. So, they went to go see it.
It wasn't a long trek, a few hours and there they were. It was a grand sight indeed, a large highway with monsters as big as trees and what better way to experience them than getting a closer look. But Owlpaw wasn't as willing as his twin to go or and see the big cars. He begged Heronpaw to stay with him but the pearly tom was too stubborn. Owlpaw even went as far as to clamp down onto his tail to keep his brother with him. That's where everything went from bad to worse.
Heronpaw, in his moment of frustration, snatched back his tail bring his black brother with it. He ducked and out went the ebony apprentice, tumbling out into the very middle of the thunder path.
Owlpaw was terribly traumatized, stuck in the middle of a highway and he was barely an apprentice. He wasn't hurt much more than a few scrapes, cuts, and bruises from where cars had lightly clipped him or when he burned his pads against the black asphalt. No, physically he was well. But in his mind Owl completely receded from the world, he refused to speak to anybody even seasons after the accident.
