HI. I am Willowshade, known OOC as India. I currently do not have a medicine cat apprentice but when I DO feel free to introduce yourself here. Also, greetings.
Here are some handy dandy super fine RULES for posting in this here loverly den. Follow ALL OF THEM. Read ALL OF THEM. Thank you. Love you. Proceed.
1. YOU CAN NOT DIE WITHOUT a) staff permission and b) the purchased 'kill your character' starter pack found in the shop up above. Please TELL ME IF YOU HAVE THOSE if you come here to die. Also my deepest condolences.
2. You are certainly allowed to have your cat obtain a scar from an injury. Just make sure the injury would be deep enough to actually make a scar.
3. Please, do not come here without a ShadeClan medicine cat's (me) express permission more than once a week. You can get permission though! Feel free to shoot me or other medicine cat a PM! Don't be scared, we're people too!
4. Do not create a thread consisting of any of the following: a) I want to learn about herbs b) how can I help c) hey I found herbs d)anything that does not consist of YOU or another cat in the thread THAT YOU TAGGED that is injured/ill/having kits. In addition, do not join random threads here unless your character is close to the injured character!
5. COME HERE IF YOU HAVE KITS. TAG BOTH MEDICINE CATS FOR THE KITTING. And please note the rules about having kits so helpfully posted by Misty in the General Board and Rules section!
6. IF YOUR CAT LOSES A LIMB/EYE/EAR/SIDE OF FACE WHATEVER, they are going to RP with that for the rest of their lives. You will RP with that for the rest of their lives, because that cat would have it for the rest of their lives. This is obvious. Please don't claim some magical treatment (there are exceptions involving large plots and CloudClan I suppose but I kind of... doubt that.)
7. IF YOUR CAT BREAKS A BONE please RP with that injury including current treatments for AT LEAST TWO WEEKS. No exceptions.
8. If your cat is sick with something bad (not just allergies ok), please RP with said illness for one to two weeks, depending on how bad and how your cat reacted to the illness.
9. Do not expect us to come to you when you are hurt. Either PM and tag me in the thread, or bring the cat to the medicine den.
10. No, you can't heal injuries. You don't know about herbs either beyond the usual poppyseed and cobwebs.
11. Disabilities are allowed on here, but consider that a blind cat would probably not be able to become a warrior, and no, once medicine cats are selected can not become medicine cats. You can befriend a medicine cat outside of the den, but your character is going to have to learn to be a warrior with said disability.
12. Snake bites/rat bites or anything of the sort should be avoided unless you plan to have a very close brush with death (must PM me) or dying. See first rule on dying.
13. TAG ME OR MY PARTNER IN ANY THREADS BECAUSE NO WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO CHECK A SPECIFIC BOARD EVERY DAY OKAY TAG US. My username is willowpaw. WIll get back to you on partner's username.
14. Keep it realistic, guys. We're not doing amputations or half of your face (*cough*Brightheart*cough*). Severe things like that require a PM and an OK. You have been warned.
15. Check the allowed illness thread before posting as well to see if you need permission for what you want.
16. If you break these rules more than twice in an alotted amount of time you will receive a warning bar. (Will change based on offense. Just don't do it three times, bud)
If you don't follow these rules, your thread will be promptly locked. I might explain why. I might not. If your thread is locked without an explanation, re-read THIS handy dandy recipe book and FIGURE OUT WHY. DON'T DO IT AGAIN.
